A lucid dream

I was walking

To some unknown path

Winding and unwinding

Pebbled and stoned

Widened and intoned.

I was traveling alone

At the breaking of dawn

When it was neither too blue nor too dark

Where was I?

Could not find any mark!

And every turn I was taking

Wild flowers I was picking

And gazing on my knees,

My heart was ticking.

And suddenly I woke up staring

Into some emptiness

In front of me appeared a void

And I felt as a stray asteroid.

And I thought

“When you gaze into the void

Long enough,

Does the void also gaze into you?”

The path to nowhere (charcoal pencil sketch)
